My first Oil Painting

Hurray! :) Finally I done with my first oil painting. Its took two days to complete it. I was so much confused about what to paint and how to paint. I have never tried Oil painting before and I wanted to try it out. So I have decided to gather basic knowledge of how to kick start oil painting and things required for it. I Google for some tutorials and got plenty of information and videos for beginners. Better and easiest way to get started in oil painting is to buy a kit that will contain all of the things you need. I have visited many store near to Fine Art school and found many kit. Most of paint kit come with paint, brushes, an easel and a palette. They were pretty expensive but I manged and convinced my heart for it :) Following Things Are Needed for Oil Painting : Easel Canvas Palette Set of oils , tubes small or regular, base colors Set of brushes, of your choice A palette knife, for mixing or painting Turpentine, or linseed oil, or thinner, (I bought all) Rags or ...
